Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic

Second phase of renovation of a hotel with over 150 years of history in the heart of Montreux.

The jewel in Montreux's hotel crown, located opposite the train station and on the shores of Lake Geneva, the Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic has undertaken a complete renovation of the entrance, lobby, bar and all common areas in 2019.

ARCHI-DT Interior Design SA was entrusted with the design, coordination and general supervision of the work, and collaborated with Germany's Marriott and Berlin-based communications agency WAALD to create a new global image and identity for the hotel. Thanks to this new impetus, the hotel completes its modernization by positioning itself as a "meeting place between heaven and earth".

This renovation, carried out while maintaining the hotel's continued operation, required total coordination with the other trades and strict adherence to deadlines. Maison Wider's teams were responsible for the production and installation of the interior fittings, including the bar, the tables decorated with brass medallions, the bookcases in the central lounge, as well as the installation of the connecting doors to the common areas, including a large series of fire doors complying with Swiss fire safety standards. Custom-made banquettes, now one of our flagship products, add a further touch of refinement to all the furnishings.
