The Wyss Center is an independent, non-profit research and development organization dedicated to advancing the understanding of the brain.

Maison Wider had the honor of fitting out the "Speakeasy" project. Under the direction of the design team, we produced and installed the following elements:

• Wall panel with natural oak veneer panels
• Tiered podium with untreated wood substructure, visible surfaces in natural oak
• Bench seat in flame-retardant Kvadrat fabric
• Cafeteria layout, including appliances
• Illumination with inlaid LEDs

Oak, with its natural cachet, blends perfectly with modern settings. This open space is now ready to welcome Wyss Center staff to a place where they can relax and enjoy each other's company.
