Nestlé Auditorium

Nestlé - Salle Polyvalente - Vevey (10)

Challenge and technical prowess.

The design of the new multi-purpose hall on the Nestlé Bergère site in Vevey was an exciting technical challenge, the fruit of collaboration between Brönnimann & Gottreux Architectes SA and Simon Architectes Sàrl.

This very large room presented multiple requirements, both for the architects and for our teams. Joinery elements are omnipresent and have been integrated to bring a warm touch to the space.

A remarkable technical feat was achieved with the installation of perforated wooden airplane wings on the ceiling. These wings, each with a surface area of 38 m2, house indirect lighting, meet acoustic requirements and house the hall's thermal regulation system. They open to 90° thanks to 3 motors per wing, providing a complex functional solution.

At the rear of the hall are the control room and translation areas, where the stage managers can work to ensure that the conferences run smoothly, with a full view of the hall from here.
